Among the many dollops of pop artists today, Jayne Vince makes her way “back to the future”. Her retro pop style and vocal circus antics of clever register switches are an interesting combination paired with her spontaneous texture choices. Jayne has devised a circuitous path to bridge classics with modern pop for her unexpected next.

She draws from her love of Stevie Wonder, Carole King, Esperanza Spalding, Hiatus Kaiyote to influence her writing and top lines.

As one of the top 5 pop winners for the Young Arts program, Jayne was a semi finalist for the presidential scholar in the arts. 18 year old Jayne Vince, armed with a full library of songs and sounds, digs her heels into the voices of the greatest musical vocalists of today and yesteryear and then spits it back out coupled with her signature J.V. style.

Jayne will be attending Clive Davis Institute of Recorded Music / NYU this fall. Her first project will be released in March 2017.
